Why is EBT seeking funding?
Funding will allow for a second, more expansive pilot of the program out of a certified commercial kitchen and local community hub, and includes the bulk purchase of food and materials to finalize menu choices, portion sizes, packaging, and easy-to-access training for parents and caregivers. Initial launch intended to offer immediate resources to underserved populations in the city.
